Ventura High School and College Graduates,

1890-1952

Names on the "Ventura Graduates up to the Separation of the Junior College District in 1952" web page were taken from the Ventura High School and Junior College yearbooks.  Before 1907 literary works were published as Bean Porridge, but after that, until the Junior College separated as an independent unit from the High School District in 1952, the yearbooks were known as La Revista.  An attempt was made to extract names of all high school and Junior College graduates up to that time from La Revista. The graduates in the earlier years were not always Seniors, as 2-year commercial courses were also offered.

There were no yearbooks for 1917-1918 (war years), 1932-1935 (depression years), and 1943-1944 (war years).  A few of the earlier yearbooks included names of alumni, which were used to fill in a few missing yearbooks.  When different spellings were shown, they are marked with a slash.  Some graduates are listed as such in successive years.  Students were housed on several campuses as the district expanded.  The last one for this graduate list is the Ventura High School campus, opened in the 1929-1930 school year.
